The children's author David Walliams parted ways with publishing house.
Best-selling young adult author and TV personality David Walliams is no longer with his UK book publisher, the company has said.
A representative for the firm commented: "Following a thorough review, and following the appointment of its new CEO, HarperCollins UK will not be releasing any new titles by David Walliams."
Media sources suggest that the move was taken subsequent to an investigation into allegations of inappropriate behaviour directed at women.
The company did not confirm the motivations for this action, stating: "We do not comment on internal matters."
A Highly Successful Literary Career
Walliams ranks among Britain's most best-selling authors for kids, with sales exceeding in excess of 60 million copies worldwide in 55 languages.
The debut children's novel from Walliams, *The Boy in the Dress*, came out under HarperCollins in 2008.
A number of his titles, including *Gangsta Granny* and *Billionaire Boy*, have found new life as small-screen adaptations.
He has published more than 40 books in total, which features a holiday title called *Santa & Son*, which was released through HarperCollins in October.
Television and Literature
His career breakthrough occurred on the broadcast sketch program *Little Britain* and has additionally received National Television Awards for his work as a judge on *Britain's Got Talent*.
He was made an OBE back in 2017 in recognition of his work for charity and the arts.
The publisher's decision comes after the naming of Kate Elton as HarperCollins UK's new chief executive this past October.
