Xbox fan sites have started writing on PS5 topics unprecedentedly. 2025 was a period of total upheaval for the Xbox ecosystem. However, judging purely by the titles headed to the service in 2026, it's evident that the green gaming company remains determined to draw people in with compelling titles on its premier subscription.
The Immediate Additions
The duo of games you can play right now today, Brews & Bastards and Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition, are not the headliners. The true anticipation is for the upcoming titles to Game Pass soon that's worth getting excited about.
Upcoming Headline Games
On Jan. 13, the platform will add the often-overlooked Star Wars Outlaws, a vast exploration title that refreshes conventional open-world tropes with a space-faring criminal escapade. A further major acquisition is Resident Evil Village and its giant Lady Dimitrescu, previously described as "a superb mixture of terror and combat."
Noteworthy Smaller Games
Yet, the less-hyped additions arriving shortly on the service are noteworthy here. Lost In Random: The Eternal Die, a fantastic but under-the-radar dungeon crawler offering thrilling gameplay, becomes available next week — and it's worth experiencing whether or not you experienced the first Lost in Random game.
The game set in a ruined Britain from last year might get its hooks in you within just a quarter of an hour.
Atomfall, a survival title with stealth elements by the makers of Sniper Elite, is another one to watch. Ultimate tier members also have Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine – Master Crafted Edition to get excited about.
A Solid, Curated Lineup
All in all, these aren't the most groundbreaking additions to Game Pass, and they don't represent first-party juggernauts that are the sole reason for the service by themselves. However, this batch of games are very dependable. There's a good mixture of past releases that passed you by and new-ish games that lacked the recognition they deserved the first time around — which makes them excellent choices to find a new audience on Game Pass.
